How to Read / Order
- Start from the top-most arrow
- Follow the direction of the arrow. For example;
- 1s, 2s, 2p, 3s
- Exponent the electron with maximum number of sub-shell until the total of exponents is equals to
Atom Number.
- If the total is more than Atom Number, subtract the the last electron's exponent to make the total
equals to the atom number.

1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p2
1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6,
4s2, 3d10, 4p3
